Description

CEFPODOXIME-200 + OFLOXACIN 200 MG Tablets are a group of drugs called broad-spectrum antibiotics. These are useful in treating severe bacterial infections of the lungs called pneumonia cystitis(infection of the bladder), sinus(infection of sinusitis), ear infections, and many other bacterial infections. 

CEFPODOXIME-200 + OFLOXACIN 200 MG Tablets are made by assembling two drugs, Cefpodoxime and ofloxacin. Cefpodoxime helps in the formation of cell wall, which helps in preventing bacteria inside our body. Ofloxacin works by inhibiting DNA gyrase, which is necessary for DNA replica and repair. Consume the dose of CEFPODOXIME-200 + OFLOXACIN 200 MG Tablets as directed by your physician depending on your condition.

1. Consumption of Cefpodoxime and ofloxacin can make you feel tired and sleepy. Therefore, you are advised not to take these tablets before you drive or travel.
2. If you have any past medical history regarding liver or kidney disease, talk to your doctor before consuming these tablets as it can affect you.
3. It is unsafe for you and your baby if you are consuming Cefpodoxime and ofloxacin tablets while you are pregnant, a breastfeeding mother, or have plans to conceive.
4. You are advised to quit the consumption of alcohol during this medication. Doing so will result in reducing the effect of this medicine and will harm your liver.
5. Do not give this drug to children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor once before giving.
